I love the score for this. It fits the video short story perfectly. Watch it. My first take is that it is about FAME...but how, why, what fame is as it affects the person in front of the camera. The protagonist says "I just want to feel again" when she gets in front of the camera. This is a sentiment that been echoed many times by a number of disaffected Hollywood beauties but for me--very much not of that group, it's a sentiment that I relate to completely. This world numbs you, whether you are famous of not. That's in part at least, why people skydive, take drugs, drive fast cars...they just want to be able to feel (again). Very cool video. It's very true about this actress, Paz de la Huerta, who you can see in HBO's Boardwalk Empire, that she seems to come alive in front of the camera. I've seen photos of her at Hollywood functions and thought--she looks pretty ordinary ( except of course for the killer-hot bod). But onscreen or in posed photographs she's ethereal, nearly breathtaking...
