The Brazilian-born Baccarin, age thirty-three, was until recently — and maybe still is — best known for her role on the short-lived 2009 ABC series V, on which she played the doe-eyed, pixie-cut alien queen with an excellent Q rating. And removable skin. It's her iconic role to date, save perhaps her part on the culty Firefly, which turned the heads of a thousand, thousand fanboys. "It's a coincidence," she says of starring in two major science-fiction projects. "I really look for strong female characters, or weak female characters, for that matter — something defined, tucked inside a great story. Reading V gave me straight-out goosebumps. You know, not knowing who your neighbors are, discovering that you live in an occupied state. Firefly I grabbed. We all thought it would last."

"These are two people who thought they had no chance to ever have a real love affair and they found each other and there's something fantastic and mind-blowing about that." -- Alan Ball
The video above, titled "Game Of Fucks: 126 Reasons Why Game Of Thrones Would Never Work On Basic Cable" splices together every profanity uttered in "Game Of Thrones" first two seasons in rapid-fire fashion, and the result is extremely entertaining. As you might imagine, there are plenty of "bastards" (not just directed at Jon Snow), "whores," c-words and pretty much everything in between.

The sex on “Game of Thrones” has been the topic of much discussion throughout the first two seasons of the hit HBO series.
It has sparked debate about gender roles and sexism on TV, inspired critic Myles McNutt to coin the term “sexposition" –- using sex as a backdrop for exposition about back story or character motives -- and earned a spoof on "Saturday Night Live" for its gratuitous nudity.
The Huffington Post thought it was time to look at the show's breadth of sex scenes to figure out if "Game of Thrones" is the non-stop T & A ... and P fest it's made out to be.
After going through the entire series looking for every instance of sex and nudity, The Huffington Post discovered that in 20 hours of material, there is just a little over 15 minutes of, literal and figurative, naughty bits.

Battlestar Galactica Bad Ass Beauty Lands Lead In New Series!
Tricia Helfer has landed the lead in the ABC Pilot "Killer Women'"
Former Battlestar Galactica badass Tricia Helfer has landed the lead in Killer Women, ABC’s drama pilot about the only female in the male-dominated Texas Ranger Division, TVLine has learned.
Based on the Argentine seriesMujeres Asesinas, the project — which counts Modern Family‘s Sofia Vergara among its producers — finds Helfer playing Molly Parker, a beautiful and ballsy Ranger who knows how to get the truth and isn’t afraid to ruffle a few feathers on her way there.
Hannah Shakespeare (The Playboy Club) penned the script.
Helfer’s post-BSG credits include Dark Blue, The Firm, Two and a Half Men, Criminal Minds and this week’sCommunity.
Mujeres Asesinas ("Killer Women") is an Argentine drama and suspense thriller TV series, based on an acclaimed trilogy of books of the same name by Marisa Gristein.
I have one thing to say about this: What took so long?
Tricia is not only beautiful, she's talented! When Battlestar Galactica ended I felt sure she'd be a lead or co-lead in series television in no time. But it hasn't happened--until now! It's not as if she's being twiddling her thumbs--she's very active in charities of many sorts and she's had some nice guest roles as well as quite a bit of voiceover work. But as much as I love hearing her I want to see her, too! So this is about the best news I could ask for today. Trica Helfer is back!
Anne Hathaway and Taram Killam parody Homeland on Saturday Night Live
Someone at SNL really likes Homeland (don’t we all?) Last week, in their hurricane press-conference sketch, Mayor Michael Bloomberg explained to Spanish-speaking New Yorkers that white people were cranky because they were missing Homeland.
This week, Anne Hathaway was at the center of a sketch that perfectly captured the actors’ quirks, with Hathaway recreating Claire Danes’ constantly quivering chin and Taram Killam capturing Damian Lewis’ teeny tiny mouth. And when you think about it, as Saul (Bill Hader) says about Carrie, why wouldn’t you trust a CIA agent who swills wine while popping pills, and is sexually obsessed with her source?
DEXTER (Michael C.Hall) has fallen for another damaged blond, this time season 7's 'Hannah McKay' played by the beautiful Yvonne Strahovski. Here she is as shown during her Maxim photoshoot (au naturel) and in interview about her perfect date, among other things of great significance.
